New Year, New Blog, First Post

Hooray for 2014! I am so excited for this year. Not only am I running my first half marathon in February and moving into a new house with Jordan, but… I’m getting married!! And that's just the first half of the year! Hopefully I will stay up to date with this blog (resolution #1) and keep all my family and friends informed on the happenings in Sunny South Florida.

This year has already been off to a great start. Last night Jordan and I, along with a few of our friends, watched “The Shoe Drop” at the Bourbon St. Pub in Key West. It was so fun! Sushi, a draq queen, rides down in a huge red sparkly high-heeled shoe. We got there about an hour before midnight and watched a few acts from other drag performers, pretttty interesting. At midnight we were covered in champagne from people “poppin’ bottles” up on the balconies above us. It really was a night to remember.
